Olympic Dam produces copper, uranium, gold and silver from a mining and processing complex located near Roxby Downs, South Australia. The operation is a long life asset with a very significant mineral resource base – being the world’s fourth-largest known copper resource, the fourth-largest known gold resource and the largest known uranium deposit, the latter accounting for more than one-third of the global uranium inventory. The expansion project will examine significantly increasing production by means of large open pit mining in the southern areas. This requires a substantial surface drilling program to delineate and define the resource. The production increase will also be accompanied by additional ore processing facilities and infrastructure, including water, power and roads/railway.
We invite you to join the elite team that will be charged with delivering one of the biggest open cut mines and most complex large-scale processing plants in the world.
The Expansion Project is planned to increase Olympic Dam to around four times its current size.
The growth and complexity in output will be supported by massive projects in infrastructure, providing accommodation, power, transport and water.
To play in this league requires talent, hard work and smart decisions. We now seek people to play a part in the preparation of Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility studies that will take your career into the next decade and set the agenda for many years to come.
